Things Reid is Doing or Saying

I am writing these down so that I don't forget:

1) I kept wondering why Reid says, "Where's the lovie?" when he can't find his lovie. Then today when we were leaving I said, "Where's the lovie?" So, I realized he is just repeating what I say. Hilarious!
2) He loves to watch Curious George. The first thing out of his mouth in the morning is, "Go in den and watch George".
3) Just this past weekend he started making this funny face while he was singing and dancing. It's a really serious face, but he is being funny and laughing at the same time. He scrunches up his nose and sticks his lips out. I need to get it on video.
4) When he doesn't know someone or is unsure of a person, he makes a kind of mean face at them. It's funny to me, but probably not to them!

Interview with a Brother

We went to the airport yesterday afternoon when Reid woke up from his nap. It had been raining so it wasn't too hot outside. And it rained while we were there too. Reid found this teddy bear, and Wyatt played with Lance's phone and made the following video.

A Big Ole Messy Mess!

Reid received some of the new Crayola colored bubbles for his birthday! I hid them in the closet, but he found them and he insisted on opening them! WOW!!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves!!!!

Easter 2011

We had a great Easter weekend! We dyed eggs on Saturday, and then we went to church on Sunday. I did NOT however get a family picture. It's a good thing we just had family pictures made, or else I would have been upset. Reid fell asleep on the way home from church. Then everyone came to our house for lunch, and the picture just never happened! Reid really got into finding his Easter basket this year. He was so cute.

Name Change

I decided to change the name of this blog to "Raising a Toddler and a Tween". I originally started this blog in the hopes of journaling all things infertility. And then I got pregnant with my little miracle baby. I still have unwavering belief, but I think the new title says a lot about my days lately! And I will certainly have to apply the unwavering belief daily in order to raise the toddler and the tween:)

Collage

I always see peoples' blogs that have those cool collages. So, I finally tried one out! It's so cute (or at least I think so). And it was really easy. I did it on picnik.com. Now I will attempt to do one for Wyatt's years through 10! Wow that should be challenging!!!

You are 2!

Two years ago I had a 1 1/2 week old newborn, and a 7 year old. I am sure thoughts were running through my mind like, "How am I ever going to manage this?" But happiness unlike any other filled my soul because I was holding this baby that some had said I would never have "naturally". Well, he was born naturally all right. It proves that God's ways are higher than ours.

Two years ago, I didn't know that you would be so wild and crazy!

Two years ago, I didn't know that you would have some super curly hair and I would wonder where in the world it came from. I didn't know that, just like your brother, your eyes would stay blue until you were 1, and then change to a color that no one can describe. They are not brown, they are not blue, they are not green!

Two years ago, I didn't know that you would be speaking in near complete sentences at the age of 2.

Two years ago, I didn't know how much you would love to GO! You hate being in the house with me. You love to be outside or on the go. However, I think I know where you got it from.....

Two years ago, I didn't know that you would love ME so much! Wyatt has always been a Daddy's boy, but you tend to be a Momma's boy so far.

Two years ago, I didn't know that you would be the exact opposite of your brother. I didn't know that you would LOVE to eat everything put in front of you, I didn't know that you would HATE to watch TV, I didn't know that you would love getting your hair cut, I didn't know that you would love the sand, and I didn't know that you would be seemingly fearless in lots of ways!

Two years ago, my heart was so full of love for the little 9 day old baby I was holding! My heart will burst if it gets any fuller with love for my 2 year old little boy and my 9 year old big boy!

Reid's 2 Year Stats:
Height 35 3/4" (can I just round that up to 36"?) LOL!
Weight 29 1/2 LBS! (I can't get over how much he has thinned out!)
